HAPPY EASTER!
Dear Friends!
I hope all is well with you and yours and that you're enjoying the spring weather! In Sweden, spring is hiding more efficiently than the easter bunny hides eggs, I’m afraid… I personally, am not impressed!
As we approach Easter, I wanted to take a moment to wish you a happy holiday and to remind you that small steps can lead to big changes in your fitness and nutrition habits.
As equestrian athletes, we know that our sport demands a lot from us physically, mentally, and emotionally. But building good habits doesn't have to be difficult or overwhelming. In fact, the key to success is often found in taking small steps and making consistent progress over time.
One effective way to do this is by incorporating compound exercises into your fitness routine. Compound exercises work multiple muscle groups at the same time, which can help you get more out of your workout and save time in the process. Examples of compound exercises include squat variations, resistance band exercises, boss ball moves….you can find endless examples on my instagram account! (link below)
Another way to make progress is by making small changes to your nutrition habits, if you wish to manage your weight or change your energy levels. For example, you could start by adding more fruits and vegetables to your meals, drinking more water throughout the day, or cutting back on sugary snacks.
Remember, building good habits is a journey, not a destination. If you can commit to making small changes consistently over time, you'll be amazed at the progress you can make.
Once again, I want to wish you a happy Easter and I hope this newsletter has gotten you inspired to make a change. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!
